Smarter Portfolios
I founded this company on the belief that transforming finance can make people’s lives happier. Growing up with parents who both worked at securities firms, and having spent about 10 years in the industry myself, I experienced firsthand the importance of finance and asset management. The conviction that we need a world in which everyone has access to asset management is what drove me to launch FOLIO in December 2015.
“FOLIO” is derived from the word “portfolio,” which comes from the term for cases carrying important documents. Today, FOLIO Holdings provides new value to society as a portfolio that combines data science-driven knowledge and insights with the ideas and technologies needed to implement them as financial services.
As lifestyles and values continue to diversify, we are being called on to redefine what finance can be and to keep creating innovative solutions. We will continue to further refine our technical capabilities and creativity. As a company essential to the sustainable growth of individuals and society, We will keep taking on the challenge of shaping the future of finance.
